Work Hard, Play Hard.

We are a hard working homestead and that involves planting, weeding and harvesting in the garden, animal husbandry and baling hay, maple tapping and syrup processing, all the while, caring for the land as well as the plants and animals here. Then there are the countless hours spent in the studio creating art (which can be fun, too). We always make time for play, though, and this beautiful Driftless Region of Iowa is happy to comply.
